The idea behind "I’m In" came from the founder having to organise a weekly game of 5-a-side football. This process became so time consuming that the event was nearly cancelled on a number of occasions.
For an organiser, the application is simple to set up, invites are easy to send out and a well designed control panel allows the information to be well displayed. As for the invitee, there is no need to sign up, with just a simple ‘I’m in’ or I’m out’ response to an email to confirm, collate and remind those involved.
Since launching in 2014, the number of users and uses for the application have grown with over 1,000 events having taken place through the platform. Due to the design focus on the end user, the product's popularity has organically grown with users sharing and recommending the product. The application is now being used in both the private and public sector, allowing organisers to save on this administrative process and spend more time running their business.
