As a developer at Sauce, you will work within an integrated development team, working on products from their initial conception, to release and into support. The Role

The role is full time and you will be part of the team that develops and maintains a variety of api driven web/mobile projects. You will be expected to learn and apply new knowledge to support existing projects as well as assist with the creation, and implementation of features based on the end user’s requirements.

The environment is chill, but the work is fast-paced, so you will have to be able to manage your time and be self-motivated. The salary range will be between £21,000 and £25,000 with a number of perks and benefits that come with a modern digital company in a tech hub.

What we are looking for

An apprentice, graduate, or a self taught professional with a willingness and drive to keep pushing your knowledge forward. The business prides itself on our ability to work with clients to deliver projects, so experience / confidence in meeting with / planning and developing projects as a team is necessary.

We are looking for something like;

New graduate with a CompSci degree or
2 - 4 years either in industry or self taught experience in Web Development
A good understanding of the basics of web development (HTML, CSS and JS)
Basic understand of REST APIs

Nice to have;

Knowledge of some modern JS frontend development; (e.g. React, EmberJS)
Familiar with Hybrid mobile app frameworks like ReactNative & Ember Cordova
Experience of server side web development; (e.g. Elixir, NodeJS)
Developing or working with Web APIs, knowledge of JSONAPI is a plus
Basic understanding of version control (git)
We use an Agile development methodology so an understanding of this is beneficial.
